Geneva Regional Leader for Zero Waste Switzerland, Dorinda Phillips will share her own experience reducing waste and carbon emissions, along with an introduction to the Zero Waste approach. She will give lots of ideas on how to further reduce waste, one step at a time, together with resources of how to practically do it where you live.
She will also include a brief overview of waste stats, natural resource use and carbon emissions in Switzerland as well as share ideas on how to inspire your companies, organizations and communities to do the same.

More about our speaker Dorinda Phillips:
As a specialist in training and behavior change Dorinda worked 20 years in leadership positions for Procter and Gamble before leaving to dedicate more time to the large environmental challenges the world is facing. After reducing her own household waste by over 90% she became an Ambassador for Zero Waste Switzerland and created a series of 3 Zero Waste workshops to inspire and enable people to reduce their own waste, natural resource use and carbon emissions. Together with a team of enthusiastic Zero Waste Switzerland members, she works with cities, companies and schools to help them start or continue on their Zero Waste Journey.
