Presenter: Isabel Mann, Managing Director - saltedMinds Sàrl
Isabel Mann possesses over fifteen years of experience within the fields of human resources management, organizational design and talent management and acquisition. She has held senior positions within global organizations where she implemented long-term strategic objectives that leveraged the human capital contained within them.
Managing director at
saltedMinds Sàrl, Isabel counsels companies which are implementing ambitious HR strategies and programmes. Those companies believe that long term success can only be reached by having their employees at the heart of their business model.
In her talk, Isabel will be presenting the use and misuse of the terms “Human Capital”.
Human Capital includes all the skills, experiences and knowledge that a person accumulates over a lifetime. All these non-monetary "assets" are the unique heritage of each individual. It is therefore correct to speak of a "Capital". However, this should never be done in an idea of capitalist abuse, but in a perception of personal "wealth": A very useful Capital for a company.
Isabel Mann will be providing evidence of the usefulness of this economic concept of “capital” and contrast it with the “human” part, as to discuss the only assets that increase when used.
