Leadership Wisdom from Horses: Growing Your Leadership Presence

If you want to know what leadership really is, then enter a relationship with a 500-kg horse and develop it to the point where the horse wants to be with you and is willing to follow you. It looks like magic when you are there, but getting there is a whole other story. What pseudo works in the human world does not work with horses.
It's not about who you are in the outside world, but who you are on the inside. This evening, Marina will talk about her journey with horses, focusing on the leadership qualities she had to develop, so that her horses would be willing to follow her lead. If you think about it, why should a 500kg prey animal trust and follow a 50-60kg human with predatorial tendencies?
You will go home with a new perspective on leadership and simple tools that allow you to further grow your leadership presence.
About our speaker Marina Parris:
Marina offers a unique coaching experience that brings nature-based wisdom to business leaders enhancing their authenticity, emotional intelligence and effectiveness. Drawing from nearly two decades of experience with horses to develop leaders who are not only respected by also genuinely followed.
She integrates essential leadership qualities such as safety, trustworthiness, clear communication and socially intelligent approach to foster leaders who excel in both personal integrity and professional outcomes. Marina holds an MBA with over 14 years of corporate experience across various industries, equipping her with a deep understanding of the challenges that leaders face.
Her training and continuing education as a coach in equine-facilitated learning has been with Linda Kohanov, a pioneer in this field, based in Arizona. Marina was also Co-President/President of BPW Club Zug for 4 years, has been writing for Ladies Drive Magazine for six years, and published two books and a magazine. She lives close to Aarau and shares her life with her for horses.
