What makes people memorable? Some people seem to have a natural aura around them that makes them memorable, likeable and influential. Charisma is a rather controversial topic in that people think that either you have it, or you don’t. Charismatic leaders, for example, have a deep influence on followers who will buy into the leader’s vision and perform beyond what is asked of them. « Charisma gets people to like you, trust you, and want to be led by you » (Olivia Fox Cabane). Hence, charisma can make a huge difference for your success and your capacity to influence others, both private and professional.
A growing body of research shows that charisma can be acquired. There is a pattern in the behaviors of charismatic people and we can all learn to be more charismatic. During this session, we will talk about which characteristics make charismatic people stick out and how we can learn to be memorable and influential.
